The traditional flag parade of Jerusalem Day began today (Wednesday), with tens of thousands of marchers arriving in the city center to mark the 57th anniversary of the unification of Jerusalem. The marchers will make their way through the streets of Jerusalem and the Old City towards the Western Wall, where a solemn prayer will be held.
Due to the march, which started at 3pm Israel time, the following streets, and the roads leading to them, were closed to vehicular traffic: Bezalel, King George, Agron, Yitzhak Kariv, King Shlomo and Sultan Suleiman.
