Palestinian media outlets reported today (Tuesday) that eight Hamas police officers were killed after an Israeli drone struck their vehicle while travelling through the city of Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the Commando Brigade's combat team has been operating in the Rafah area, surprising and eliminating terrorists, destroying tunnel shafts, and discovering weapons caches.

One such weapons cache was found in a combat area containing dozens of mortar rounds, long-range rockets, RPG rockets, dozens of explosive devices, grenades, and assorted ammunition.
