State Camp party Chairman and minister Benny Gantz met with senior British government ministers in Britain, including Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Foreign Secretary David Cameron, and National Security Adviser Tim Barrow.

Gantz’s trips to the US and Britain were done contrary to the view of the Prime Minister’s Office, which approved and then rescinded approval for the move.

Gantz’s office stated that “in his meeting, Minister Gantz thanked Britain for its efforts for the security of the State of Israel and stressed he importance of international pressure on Hamas to bring about the release of the hostages.”

Gantz also noted Israel’s commitment to complete the just and necessary goal of removing the threat and ending the rule of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, while adhering to international law.
