Joke's on you: Jordanian army's air drop to Gaza lands in Israeli territory

The Jordanian army continues to embarrass itself. After dropping civilian aid into the sea at the beginning of the week, this time the Jordanians made sure nothing got wet and dropped the aid packages inland. The only problem? It landed in Israeli territory or territory within Gaza controlled by the IDF.

In the incident from the beginning of the week, IDF soldiers were called in due to fears of a security incident near Kibbutz Zikim on the Gaza border. In the end, it turned out to be aid packages landing in the sea. It should be noted that King Abdullah II of Jordan personally took part in one of the parachute sorties.

It is not clear why Jordan feels compelled to air-drop equipment from the air instead of transporting it in trucks through the border crossings in the first place and if you are parachuting it in, why drop it into the sea or Israeli territory?

"A short time ago, humanitarian aid equipment was dropped by the Jordanian army in the northern area of the Gaza Strip. Due to windy conditions, some of the aid packages landed in Israeli territory. There is no fear of a security incident," said an IDF spokesperson following the incident.
