The Lebanese "Al Mayadeen" network reported this morning (Thursday) details regarding Israel's latest proposal for a hostage deal. Hamas officials said that the proposal does not include a commitment to end the war or a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, Israel agreed to a 6 week-ceasefire in the first phase of the deal, and a 30-day ceasefire in the second phase. It was also said that Israel offered to release three terrorists in return for every Israeli hostage, including several terrorists serving long prison terms.

Regarding the second step of the deal, negotiations will be held regarding the number of those released, with a promise that Israel will examine the possibility of allowing displaced Gazans to return to their homes - but without committing to a general withdrawal.

In addition, it was claimed that Israel proposed that the IDF withdraw only from densely populated areas and limit combat flighting to 6 hours a day, and also allow hospitals to be rehabilitated for proper use - but not have them rebuilt.

Israel also agreed to bring in 500 trucks of supplies and aid per day as requested Hamas, as well as trailers and tents into the Strip. Hamas also claimed that Israel would allow 50 wounded individuals to leave the Gaza Strip every day, as well as Gazans aged 50 and above.
