Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu responded today (Thursday) to President Biden's signing of an executive order sanctioning settlers involved in violence against Palestinians by saying that "the overwhelming majority of settlers are law-abiding" and that many are fighting in Israel's defense in Gaza, according to Channel 12 reporter Amit Segal.

Regarding those who are committing violence, Netanyahu said that "Israel acts against law-breakers everywhere, and there is therefore no need for exceptional steps in the matter."
