After the Viral Video: the Worker Who Injected Water into the Electricity was Arrested

The police arrested for questioning the construction worker, who was recorded on the internet in a viral video in which he injects water into an electrical cabinet and causes damage to a new apartment in Rosh Ha'Ayin. His arrest has been extended until tomorrow.

Central District police officers arrested this morning, a resident of East Jerusalem who was documented on the internet allegedly sabotaging a new apartment in Rosh Ha'Ayin by injecting water into the electrical cabinet.

Investigators of the Rosh Ha'Ayin station began an investigation, upon receiving a report of suspected damage caused to a new apartment in the city as a result of wetting an electrical cabinet using a water pipe.

In the meantime, the police investigators analyzed a network video in which the suspect - a 41-year-old resident of Atarot - recorded himself committing the act and at the end of an accelerated investigation that opened at the Rosh Ha'Ayin station, the station's officers arrested the suspect for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned.

According to the findings of the investigation and its needs, the police intend to bring the suspect to a hearing in court tomorrow with a request to extend his detention.
