The Police Warn: These are the Most Dangerous Places Today

In light of the stormy weather, the police warned of a fear of flooding during the day in the streams of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. The surfing routes in several streams in the area were closed to visitors.

The police announced (Wednesday) that today there is a fear of flash floods until the evening hours in the streams of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea.

Due to the weather conditions, all the surfing routes in the Judean desert will be closed to visitors, as well as all the walking routes in the Darga, Mashash, Tekoa, Perat and Og streams.

The police ask the drivers to adjust their journey according to the road conditions and to take extra care in case of floods and drifts on the roads. It was also reported that the traveling public who come to the area to watch the floods, are requested to do so from safe places and obey the instructions of the police, volunteers and inspectors of the Nature and Parks Authority. Any unusual incident must be reported as soon as possible to the 100 hotline of the Israel Police.
