According to reports, even during the process of releasing the abductees and bringing them to Israel, the Director General of the Prime Minister's Office alienates the person who was supposed to be responsible for the issue of the abductees, Gal Hirsch.

The Director General of the Prime Minister's Office, Yossi Shelley, instructed the National Control Center for the Treatment of the Families of the Abducted and Missing Persons not to involve Gal Hirsch in the process of accepting the abductees, Shelley ordered the heads of departments and the Control Center for the Abductees not to share information with Hirsch, not to cooperate with him, and not to admit him to the control center, to the hospitals receiving the abductees or to any other activity held on behalf of the government ministries.

Hirsch was not accepted as a civil servant and up to this stage the engagement with him as an official was not regulated.
