Due to fear of floods in the streams of the Judean Desert and the south of the country, the Nature and Gardens Authority announced the closure of several hiking trails this morning. The Authority clarifies that "it is absolutely forbidden to enter riverbeds on foot or by vehicle until the water level drops completely - life-threatening. It is forbidden to approach the edge of a stream during a flood for fear of the bank collapsing."

Arbel - the cliff tracks are closed due to the rain, the observation track is open.
Caesarea - the passage between the port and the theater through the Hippodrome is closed.
Ein Gedi - closed to visitors except for a short route in Nahal David and a short route in Nahal Arugot. The ancient synagogue is open as usual.
