Before the Ceasefire: IDF Destroys Gaza Tunnels 

As the cease fire approaches, the IDF continues its offensive, focusing on destroying tunnel entrances and terrorists.

48th day of the war.

The IDF continues to attack in the Gaza Strip with the cease fire looming, striking some 300 terror targets from the air and on the ground, including operational command posts, underground combat tunnels, weapons warehouses, weapons productions sites, and anti-tank missile launch positions.

The 215th Fire Brigade of the 162nd Division struck terror targets in the Jabalia area. Under the brigade’s direction, a drone struck terrorists moving towards the IDF with weapons, and an observation post which endangered IDF forces with guided weapons.

In addition, at the direction of Golani soldiers – a drone and tanks eliminated a number of terrorist squads during battles in the northern Strip. Soldiers of the 828th Brigade combat team located a tunnel shaft within a mosque.

In addition, soldiers of the 924th Engineering Battalion of the 12th Brigade located a tunnels shaft in an agricultural area of Beit Hanoun and destroyed it. Soldiers of the 14th Brigade located many weapons in a civilian home in Beit Hanoun and a tunnel shaft.
