The family of Shani Gabbai, considered missing since the Hamas massacre of October 7, was informed today (Wednesday) of her death. Gabbai ob”m worked producing the Nova music festival as an usher and has since been considered missing.

Her family and friends reported that their last contact with her was the morning of the massacre, when she said she’d been shot in the leg and was with a tourniquet. Contact was then lost.

When the shooting began, Shani updated her mother that she’d fled with her car and hid in a mobile shelter. When the terrorists threw grenades into the shelter, she fled and was shot in the leg twice. She was last scene in a clip from the police command post at the party at the Re’im parking lot at 8:53. They made her a tourniquet with her belt and a white scarf. Her family members knew she’d left the post, as they spoke with the last survivors who left there and she wasn’t among them.

Now we know that her body has been found.
