Against the background of the closing of the abductee deal and its going to a vote in the government this evening (Wednesday), it is announced that after the expected approval of the deal by the government, a day will be given for petitions to the High Court before it is implemented on the ground, when on Thursday the first ten abductees are expected to be released from the hands of the terrorist organization Hamas, all according to the report of Amit Segal.

As published earlier, the Prime Minister's office has updated that a cabinet meeting will be held tonight at 8:00 p.m. The meaning is that there is a hostage deal with Hamas. "In light of the developments regarding the release of our abductees - the Prime Minister will convene the War Cabinet at 6:00 p.m., the Political-Security Cabinet at 7:00 p.m. and the Government at 8:00 p.m.," said a statement from the Prime Minister's Office. According to the law, only the government is allowed to decide on deals for the release of prisoners, and the meaning is clear.

Later, the government ministers received a message: "Tonight the war management cabinet will meet, followed by the political-security cabinet and the government. On the agenda: approval of an outline for the release of our hostages. If the outline is approved, the public will be given a period of 24 hours to appeal the decision. May we be blessed with good news!"

According to reports, the apparent deal will include the release of three terrorists for every one kidnapped, that is, 50 kidnapped women and children, in exchange for 150 minor terrorists and female terrorists imprisoned in Israel. However, it is not yet known whether as an initial step Hamas will release 50 abductees at once, or in a trickle of ten abductees each time. Israel will commit to a ceasefire for 5 days, with the option of an extension in exchange for the continued release of hostages.
