More and more of the details of the emerging deal between Israel and Hamas are coming to light. Now Amit Segal, the senior political commentator for Channel 12 News, has revealed more details on the effort to free the hostages.

According to details revealed by Segal, Hamas is set to first release 53 children and their mothers taken hostage on October 7, with additional releases during the cease fire, during which Hamas is expected to release further hostages it had not located until then.

Segal revealed two additional, previously unknown conditions, one from each side: Hamas demanded that the release be entirely civilian and would not free one soldier, while Israel demanded that all those freed have Israeli citizenship.
