After a number of attacks that took place under the auspices of the Arab olives harvesting, Arabs in Gush Etzion also took advantage of the harvesting to harm Jews, when today (Thursday) another attempted murder was carried out under the auspices of the harvesting when a resident of Gush Etzion who was making his way on the main road near the settlement of Ma'ale Amos, encountered Arabs who had gathered on the sides of the road and stoned his vehicle when he passed them.

A resident of Gush Etzion who was driving his vehicle near the settlement of Ma'ale Amos encountered Arabs who were standing on the side of the road and pelted his vehicle with stones. He got out of his vehicle and fired in the air from his personal weapon, but suddenly about 20 more Arabs came out from among the nearby olive trees and beat him severely and tried to steal his weapon. The resident said: "They hid there and pretended to be harvesting. They beat me up, by a miracle I'm here alive."

The resident who was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital said after the lynching: "I was driving from Ma'ale Amos in the direction of Tko'a and I noticed on the side of the road ten Arabs who were herding a flock of 20 sheep near the road. This immediately made me suspicious and I tensed up, and just a moment after I passed them I was hit by a shower of stones."

20 Arabs emerged from the olive grove to lynch

"I got out of the vehicle and shot in the air to drive them away and maybe try to catch one of the terrorists, but after two bullets the weapon jammed. Suddenly, 20 Arabs who had been there ahead of time, posing as harvesters, emerged from the nearby olive grove, and began to attack me with clubs and stones. One stone opened a hole in my head, but I continued to wrestle with them on the floor and hold on to the weapon so they wouldn't be able to grab it," the resident added, describing the moments of the lynching.

At the last moment, another resident arrived with a gun who managed to repel them, and a few moments later, the army also arrived at the scene. I went to the hospital and I am here right now, recovering from the lynching. If this resident had not arrived at the last minute, I would not be here today."

"It is simply madness that, even though there is another attack and another attack, the Arabs are still allowed to harvest near settlements and main traffic routes. Don't you see that they are using it for terrorism? How much more blood do you need to be spilled? I say this with regret, but it seems that the Arabs' routine is more is more important to the commanding general than our lives," the resident attacked.
