Knesset Chairman Amir Ohana informed Knesset Members today (Monday) that on Wednesday, November 1, after the plenum meeting, the film prepared by the IDF Spokesperson documenting the horrors visiting the State of Israel during the Black Shabbat of October 7 would be screened in the Knesset auditorium.

The Knesset Chairman’s Office stated that the screening would last some 45 minutes and include documentation that would be very painful to watch. As reported a week ago, the IDF exposed 200 foreign correspondents to a special screening of photographs from the murders Hamas committed during the Simchat Torah Massacre.

Melissa Weiss, one of the journalists present at the screening, tweeted the following on X: “For 43 minutes the sounds and video of gunshots and unedited murder were punctuated by gasps and sobs from grown adults. I have never had an experience like that.”
