51 Suspects were Arrested in Judea and Samaria, a Terrorist was Killed in an Exchange of Fire

IDF forces arrested 51 individuals in Judea and Samaria, including 38 Hamas operatives. During the operation, armed terrorists fired at the troops, and among them, Wiyam Hanoun, a prominent activist in the Jenin Battalion, was eliminated.

The reconnaissance units of Haruv, Dukifat, Duvdevan, Yahalom, and Border Police, under the command of the Kfir Brigade and with the guidance of the Shin Bet, conducted a divisional operation last night to counter terrorism in the Jenin refugee camp within the Menashe Brigade. Following the extensive operation to counter terrorism and the confiscation of combat equipment, 51 individuals were arrested in Judea and Samaria, including 38 Hamas operatives.

According to an IDF spokesperson, engineering units uncovered live explosive devices planted beneath roads to target forces. The forces detected an observation post near the explosives, which they destroyed. In addition, the forces destroyed a vehicle in which ammunition and military equipment were found and arrested a suspect whose vehicle was found with weapon parts.

During the operation, the forces fired at armed terrorists who posed a threat to them. In addition, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) attacked armed terrorists. Among the terrorists eliminated was Wiyam Hanoun, a prominent operative in the Jenin Brigade.

At the same time, 12 Hamas operatives were arrested in various villages in a divisional operation in the Samaria region, including several senior members. During the operation in the Palestinian territories, the forces located and confiscated weapons. Furthermore, it is reported that this morning, an operation to locate combat materials took place in the Jabal Johar neighborhood in Hebron, part of the Judea Division. The forces found M-16 rifles, weapon parts, military equipment, and terrorist funds.

According to the IDF's data, since the beginning of the war, approximately 1,070 wanted individuals have been arrested in various regions within the Judea and Samaria Division and the Jordan Valley and Valleys Division, with approximately 700 of them affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization.
