More eliminations in Gaza: IDF forces, with precise intelligence from the Shin Bet and the Military Intelligence, eliminated Rafat Abbas, the commander of the Darj Tafah Battalion of the Hamas terrorist organization. In the attack, his deputy, Ibrahim Jadba, and the combat and administrative support commander, Tareq Ma'arouf, were also killed.

According to an IDF spokesperson, the three commanders who were eliminated were experienced militants in the organization, having participated in previous hostilities against Israel. The Darj Tafah Battalion is part of the Gaza City Division, considered one of the most significant divisions within the Hamas terrorist organization. The militants from this battalion played a substantial role in the deadly attack on October 7th.

This is the second elimination allowed to be published in the last hour, and the third elimination of a Hamas commander recorded today. Earlier today, fighter jets killed the deputy head of the Hamas intelligence department, Shadi Barud. The IDF said that Barud planned together with Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the attack plans that were carried out in the murderous raid in Israel on October 7.
