House of the Dragon, a Game of Thrones spin-off series premieres today (Monday). Palestinian propaganda pages call on their followers to watch the series and support it, citing endorsements from the show's stars as well as the writer George R.R. Martin in the Palestinian cause.

In a post that garnered tens of thousands of likes on social media, a Palestinian news page shared quotes from the actors condemning Israel since its ground incursion into the Gaza Strip, including lead actress Emma D'Arcy, who plays Rhaenyra Targaryen, quoted for highlighting humanitarian issues in Gaza on her Instagram.

Actress Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, is mentioned for sharing excerpts from a lawsuit against Israel at The Hague, condemning Israel's "massacres."

Actor Liam Cunningham, who portrays Davos Seaworth from the second season of "Game of Thrones" onwards, has also been outspoken against Israel, participating in protests and criticizing stars who choose to remain silent.

Even the author of the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" on which the successful HBO series is based, George R.R. Martin, is acknowledged by the post's author as supporting the Palestinian struggle.

As anticipated over the past two years, today marks the premiere of the second season of "House of the Dragon." The season continues from where it left off, amidst the civil war erupting in Westeros, torn between its loyalty to the rightful heir Rhaenyra and Queen Alicent, who plans to install her son Aegon II on the Iron Throne.
