Lieutenant Colonel Avichay Adraee, head of the Arab media division of the IDF, revealed today (Tuesday) that Hezbollah terrorists and the Amal Shia terrorist group in southern Lebanon are using ambulances belonging to the "Islamic Health Authority" association as a cover for terrorist activity in the area.
The IDF revealed evidence indicating that Hezbollah and the Amal movement used an ambulance under the guise of the "Islamic Health Authority" in one of the villages in the south of the country. The group is headed by Hassan Muhammad Shiit, who also manages the local government in the village, which is known as a Hezbollah stronghold.
After analyzing the activity pattern of the ambulance, it was noted that it moves in an unusual way between Hezbollah strongholds following IDF bombings, even in cases where there is no need to transport the wounded and a long time has passed since the attack. According to experts, these ambulances are used by Hezbollah and Amal to transport terrorists, weapons, and terrorist equipment between places surveyed by IDF forces.
In addition, two members who operated the ambulance in Kafr Kila, named Musa and Muhammad Shiit, were recognized by Hezbollah as military personnel affiliated with the organization after they were killed by Israel. At the same time, two other medics killed in Kafr Hanin were not recognized as members of the organization.
Another case of Islamist terrorists posing as medics is Hussein Khalil, a resident of the town of Rashit, who was photographed wearing an Amal organization badge prior to his death.
