Following the order of Turkish President Recep Tayyep Erdogan to end all trade with Israel, the Turkish Trade Ministry updated factories working in the construction industry, who have worked in the past with Israel that they can temporarily continue to supply companies in Israel, according to a report by Globes today (Thursday).

According to the report, this development came after a meeting between senior members of the Turkey-Israel Chamber of Commerce and senior officials in the Turkish Trade Ministry, where Turkish businessmen expressed their anger on the ban on imports and exports to Israel.

Globes also reports that the Foreign and Economy ministries have been working to find ways to end dependence on Turkish goods, including tightening relations with Cyprus and Greece as an alternative.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz posted on X that “Erdogan has retreated and cancelled many of the trade limitations, and the lesson is clear: we must not surrender to the threats of a dictator, and we must create alternatives and not be dependent on the Muslim Brother who can stop anything at any given moment.”
