As part of the "Emergency Stop" operation in the Coastal District, officers from the Nesher station, along with fighters from the Northern Tactical Brigade of the Border Police, a dog handler, a bomb disposal expert, and the aerial unit, raided a residential complex in Isfyia over the weekend.
The forces located a large cache of weapons in the warehouse of a family patriarch involved in a blood feud.
In the raid, two Glock pistols with magazines, hundreds of rounds of ammunition for long guns, bulletproof vests, combat equipment, and tens of thousands of shekels, suspected to be proceeds from criminal activity, were seized. Additionally, five suspects were arrested – three from the household and two others who were present at the scene – for questioning at the Nesher police station. At the end of the investigation, the suspects were imprisoned.
According to the needs of the investigation and its findings, the court granted the police's request and extended their detention until today. Today, the police will request to extend their detention once again.
