A critical incident unfolded today at a Talmud Torah school in Bnei Brak's Kiryat Herzog neighborhood, where emergency responders successfully resuscitated a 12-year-old student who collapsed during a playground interaction.

The incident occurred in the early Monday afternoon at a local religious school, where the student is now reported to be in stable but serious condition at Schneider Children's Hospital after successful emergency intervention.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred during regular playtime when the student received an impact from another child in what school officials described as typical playground activity. The situation rapidly escalated when the boy suddenly lost consciousness.

United Hatzalah volunteer Moishy Miller, first on scene, describes finding the child "unconscious and without vital signs." The emergency response team immediately initiated CPR protocols, deploying an emergency defibrillator which proved crucial in the successful resuscitation efforts.

"Quick intervention was crucial," Miller stated. "The combined efforts of our emergency team and the immediate use of the defibrillator proved critical in stabilizing the patient."

Following successful resuscitation, the student was immediately transported to Schneider Children's Hospital in Petach Tikva, where he remains under close medical supervision. The medical team reports his condition as serious but stable.

The family has authorized the release of the child's Hebrew name for prayers: Ariel ben Dana.

Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
