American actress Susan Sarandon joins the call of "Jewish Voice for Peace" organization, demanding to stop Netanyahu during his political visit to Washington.

In a post shared by the Oscar winner, it was written: "Jewish Voice for Peace is proud to join the national mobilization under Palestinian leadership. On July 24, we will surround the White House to demand Benjamin Netanyahu's arrest for his crimes against humanity. See you there."

The post continued, "Israeli Prime Minister was invited by the United States government to address Congress at a time when he is murdering the Palestinian people. A war criminal cannot be allowed to roam the streets of Washington."

"For 75 years, Israel has maintained a military occupation of Palestinians, while enforcing an apartheid regime. This oppression is rooted in Zionism – the ideology on which the state of Israel is based. Zionism relies on ethnic cleansing of Palestinians to create a state for Jews only."

"As anti-Zionist Jews, we recognize the genocide we have committed. While we reject Netanyahu's visit, we stand with Palestinians who have been fighting Zionism for decades."

Sarandon has an extensive resume in a wide variety of American films and series. She starred as a guest in the popular series "Friends," and won the Oscar in 1996 for her role as a nun in the film "Dead Man Walking." She is best known for her role in the film "Thelma & Louise" where she played Louise.
