2,000 Journalists

From All Over the World | This is the Number of Journalists who Arrived in Israel

Since the beginning of the "Swords of Iron" war, the Government Press Office has received a record number of 2050 journalists, double the number of journalists who arrived in Israel during the whole "Protective Edge" operation.

The leading countries in sending reporters to cover the war are the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany.

However, even countries that rarely report from Israel, such as Romania, Argentina, Nepal and Singapore, have sent journalists to Israel since the war began.

Another interesting point is that Ukraine, which is itself at war, sent two journalists to cover the war in Israel.

The number of journalists who arrived from each country (partial list)

United States – 358, Great Britain – 281, France – 221, Germany – 102, Turkey – 71, Scandinavia – 70, Italy – 63, Canada – 56, India – 55, Spain – 49, Australia – 36, Greece – 33, Russia – 24, China – 19, Belgium – 18, Romania – 16, Argentina – 16, Portugal – 14, Mexico – 10, Azerbaijan – 8, Slovakia – 7, Albania – 4, Uruguay – 4, Nepal – 4, New Zealand – 3, Georgia – 2 , Ukraine - 2, Ghana - 1, Singapore - 1, Nigeria - 1, Armenia - 1, Senegal - 1.

Nitzan Chen, Director of the Government Press Office: "From the moment of their reception until their departure, GPO (Government Press Office) provides journalists with all the horrors, testimonies, images and voices, all with the aim of proving Israel's absolute righteousness in this war on the screens of the international media everywhere in the world."
