The inaugural Haifa-Eilat flight will mark the beginning of Air Haifa’s operations, and the airline has also confirmed plans to launch a route to Athens starting January 2, 2025. Round-trip fares for the Athens route will start at $348, excluding checked baggage or carry-on. Initially, this route will operate five times a week—on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays—with flights departing Haifa at 9:00 a.m. and returning from Athens at 1:00 p.m.
In addition, Air Haifa will operate three daily flights to Larnaca, with prices for round-trip tickets starting at $118, and two daily flights to Eilat, with one-way tickets beginning at 189 shekels. The airline’s fleet will feature three ATR 72-600 aircraft at launch, according to reports from Ynet news.
To enhance passenger access to Haifa Airport, a new Egged bus route (#100) will begin service on December 22, connecting the Central Bay Station to the terminal entrance at Haifa Airport. The bus will run every 30 minutes, offering convenient transportation options for passengers arriving via Israel Railways, buses, Metronit (BRT), or the cable car system. Travelers are advised to arrive at the terminal at least 1 hour and 15 minutes before their flight.
Gonen Usishkin, co-founder and CEO of Air Haifa, announced that the airline plans to further expand its network of destinations ahead of the summer season in 2025.
