The Yehoshua bin Nun tomb complex in Samaria was desecrated, Arab rioters on the spot. Hate crime in Samaria. Yehoshua bin Nun's tomb complex in the village of Kifel Harath was desecrated. In the place, graffiti was sprayed encouraging Hamas and the 7/10 massacre in the Gaza Strip Envelope, including "Death to the Jews", October 7, names of terrorists - including the terrorist Udai Tamimi who murdered the soldier Noa Lazar in Jerusalem, Saria al-Quds (the military arm of the Islamic Jihad) and other inscriptions.

The head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, called on the government and the security forces to deal with terrorism in Judea and Samaria the same way the USA dealt with ISIS, "a barbaric hate crime and terrorist attack. We received another reminder. The enemy in Gaza and the enemy in Samaria have one goal - the destruction of the State of Israel and the murder of Jews. It's not just that the barbarians do both things together - with the same methods that Daesh did: they also harm the soul and kill Jews in a barbaric way - and at the same time they also harm our historical roots, the holy places in Israel. They understand very well that everything starts from our roots, our moral right in Israel and national honor. I call on the government and the security forces to deal with these barbaric terrorists the same way the USA dealt with ISIS, under our watch Samaria will not turn into Hamastan or Fatahstan. Whoever harms us, whoever harms our heritage, whoever harms our national shrines and symbols - will not be here. The people of Israel will win" - Dagan said.

The care of the Yehoshua bin Nun tomb is held by the administration of Yosef's tomb and the holy places of the Samaria regional council. The holy place is visited by tens of thousands of worshipers a year, who enter through a number of arranged entrances, escorted and secured by the IDF and the security forces. In the village of Kifel Harath, near the tomb of Yehoshua Bin Nun, Caleb ben Yefuneh is also buried.
