In an abandoned chip factory near Damascus, rebel forces discovered scattered captagon pills, packaging materials, and specialized equipment used for manufacturing the drug. Known as the “poor man’s cocaine,” captagon is a highly addictive amphetamine that generated billions for Assad’s regime.
