Ahmed Kahlot, the director of the hospital in Jabalia, revealed during his investigation that he was recruited to Hamas at the rank of lieutenant colonel and that Hamas uses the hospitals in the Gaza Strip as military facilities knowing that they will not be attacked.

The IDF spokesperson stated tonight that after a comprehensive investigation, "the IDF did not target the hospital in Gaza." He presented a map of the rocket launches from Gaza, showing how the hospital is situated along the route, and a failed rocket caused the explosion.
