Man who tried to kidnap LAKEWOOD Jewish girl gets 12 years in jail
A Farmingdale man who attacked his pregnant girlfriend with a baseball bat and later tried to kidnap a 13-year-old Jewish girl in Lakewood received a 12-year prison sentence for a string of violent crimes. Quamel Benton, 36, must serve at least 85% of his sentence for attempted kidnapping and other charges from his March crime spree.
