The government has approved the first portion of an economic assistance program for reservists, which will include a grant of up to NIS 3,900 per soldier's with families.

The Municipality of Karmiel is the first council to grant a discount of up to 25% of the general property tax to residents of the city serving in the reserves in the "Swords of Iron" war.
