NBA Done Snoozing? Nope! The Playoffs Are Heating Up and the Battle’s On
Last night (Between Sunday and Monday), the NBA regular season wrapped up, and now it’s game on for the moments that separate the good from the great.
In two days, the play-in tournament will dive headfirst into drama, and by Saturday, the playoffs will explode with series already shaping up to be legendary.
Who’s Facing Who in the Playoffs?
Out West, top-seeded Oklahoma City is chilling, waiting to see who claws their way out of the 7th-to-10th seed scrum—Golden State, Memphis, Sacramento, or Dallas. Houston, sitting pretty at No. 2, will also take on the 7-8 play-in winner.
The Lakers, locked in at third, are set to tangle with Minnesota, while Denver and the Clippers have already sealed a juicy 4-vs-5 showdown.
In the East, Cleveland’s ready to roll against whoever emerges from the play-in mess of Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, or Miami. Boston, cruising at No. 2, will face the same play-in survivor.
The Knicks are gearing up to surprise Detroit, and Indiana’s squaring off with Milwaukee in a series that’s screaming fireworks.
When’s It All Going Down?
The play-in tips off Tuesday with Orlando vs. Atlanta and Golden State vs. Memphis.
Wednesday brings Chicago vs. Miami and Sacramento vs. Dallas.
The fight for the eighth seed—East and West—wraps up between Friday and Saturday.
The clock’s ticking, and the stars are warming up. Who’s going the distance? Buckle up, because the NBA’s about to turn this spring into a basketball party.
