Israel continues to shine at the Paralympic Games, with Moran Samuel claiming gold in rowing on Sunday. Samuel dominated the 2,000-meter race (PR1 class), finishing with a time of 10:25.4 minutes. This victory adds to her impressive Paralympic record, having previously won silver in 2021 and bronze in 2016.

Samuel's path to gold began with a stellar performance in the preliminary round, where she not only secured her place in the final but also shattered the Paralympic record with a time of 9:58 minutes.

This latest achievement brings Israel's medal count at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games to four, with three of those being gold. The winning streak began on Thursday when Asaf Yasur claimed gold in taekwondo. The following day, swimmer Ami Dadaon added another gold to the tally in the 100-meter freestyle. The momentum continued as Mark Malyar secured a bronze medal in the 100-meter backstroke swimming event.
