Downplaying his individual achievement, Avdija humbly redirected the spotlight, stating, "Today it was me. Another day, it can be anybody on the team." Emphasizing the team's energy and commitment, he remarked, "We hold ourselves to higher standards. We know what we are capable of right now. We know we can do it. We know we can play at a high level."

Looking ahead, the Wizards face a back-to-back challenge, hosting the Detroit Pistons at the Capital One Arena on NBA Sundays. Avdija, displaying confidence and excitement for the future, stated, "I am not saying we are going to win every game throughout the season, but for sure, it can be better than what we are showing. I am excited to get better."

Avdija, who has started in all 37 appearances this season under coach Wes Unseld Jr., has been a standout performer. With an impressive stat line, averaging 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game, he continues to be a key asset for the Wizards since signing a four-year contract extension in October. As the Wizards strive for improvement, Avdija's consistent and impactful contributions are proving crucial in shaping the team's performance on the court.
