After the draw result in the away game in Romania that left Israel in the qualifying picture for Euro 2024, tonight the Israeli national team will play against the Belarusian national team in a game in which they must win. The team that will arrive in Tel Aviv tonight will be missing its central star, and will arrive with a new coach, so will it be able to surprise and destroy the Israeli dream?

After five rounds, the Belarus team is in fourth place at home, with four points. The team has one victory, precisely in the "home" game against Kosovo, which was marked at the beginning of the campaign as a team that will compete against Israel and Romania for second place at home. It ended with one draw and lost three times, among others - against Israel.

The previous match between the teams took place in Hungary due to the war between Russia and Ukraine in which Belarus is involved. Israel struggled in the game as they trailed until the 85th minute until Weisman's penalty and Oskar Gluch's goal directly from the corner in the 92nd minute brought a dramatic win for the Blue and White.

The Belarus national team will be without the central star

The one who scored the Belarusian goal against Israel is the star of the national team, Max Ebong, who plays in Astana from the Kazakh league. Ebong will be absent from today's game due to accumulating yellow card fouls. Two players known to the Israeli audience are Denis Polyakov who plays for Hapoel Haifa, and Ivan Bakhar who plays for Dinamo Minsk and played for Kiryat Shmona last season.

The Russian league is the most senior league in which players from the Belarusian national team play, with Vitaly Lisakovich, a player of Rubin Kazan, considered according to the 'transfermarkt' website, the most valuable player in the national team with a market value of 1.3 million euros. Besides Ebong, another change in the team from Eastern Europe is in the man standing on the lines.

Carlos Alós will stand on the lines against Israel

The coach of the team is Carlos Alós who replaced Georgy Kondratyev who was on the lines in the game in Hungary. In the last match against Andorra, the Belarusian team played in a 3-4-3 formation. Ivan Bakhar's teammate Maksim Plotnikov is the goalkeeper while also starting in the lineup.

For our team, despite the successes of Daniel Peretz, Omri Glazer is expected to start between the posts. The team will have to deal without the injured Shawn Goldberg and the one who is expected to replace him is Stav Lemkin. Roy Revivo is expected to continue to receive the credit, with the one who has dropped to the bench is the talented offensive player Dor Turgeman with Shon Weissman expected to take his place.

Estimated lineup: Omri Glazer; Eli Dasa, Miguel Vitor, Stav Lemkin, Roy Revivo; Neta Lavi, Dor Peretz, Oscar Gloukh; Sagiv Yehezkel, Manor Solomon, Shown Weissman.
