In one of the top leagues in the world: Daniel Peretz was introduced as the new goalkeeper of the prestigious German team, Bayern Munich. On Thursday, Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that they are parting ways with Peretz, and on Friday the transition finally became official. Peretz stood between the posts for Maccabi in the playoff game of the regional league (Conference League). The match ended with a 4-1 victory for the yellow team against Slovenia's Celje.

Peretz was sold from Maccabi Tel Aviv for 5.5 million euros. Additionally, bonuses can reach up to 7 million euros. Peretz's salary will be 1.1 million euros, and it could rise to 2.5 million euros according to achievements.

This high-profile transfer places Peretz fourth on the list of the most expensive transfers from the Israeli Premier League. Ahead of him are Eran Zahavi, who moved from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Guangzhou R&F, Oscar Gloukh, who transferred from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Red Bull Salzburg, and Manor Solomon, who moved from Maccabi Petah Tikva to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Peretz is considered the future goalkeeper of Israeli football. Already two years ago, he secured the position of the first-choice goalkeeper at Maccabi Tel Aviv. This season, Peretz made a significant improvement and is regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in the league. Additionally, Peretz had impressive performances in the conference league, attracting scouts from around the world to include him in their records.
