The West’s Dangerous Game

Trump knows the truth: Zelensky and the Democrats provoked Russia

For a decade, U.S. Democrats pushed Ukraine into a collision course with Russia—now, the cost is measured in lost land, lives, and billions in aid

Russia currently controls at least 20% of Georgia's territory, including a significant portion at the heart of the country known as Ossetia. Naturally, no one in Georgia is pleased about this situation—I have been there and witnessed it firsthand. However, unlike Ukraine, Georgia understands that provoking Russia, which sits on its borders, is unwise. This is the reality of the Slavic sphere of influence, a geopolitical dynamic that has existed for centuries and will continue as long as Russia remains a significant player on the world stage.

Countries such as Georgia, the Baltic states, Poland to a large extent, Mongolia, Central Asian nations, and, of course, Ukraine have historically fallen under Slavic influence. This influence persists as long as Russia exists. Despite its deep structural weaknesses, Russia remains a force to be reckoned with.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not ignorant of this reality, but he has been instrumental in provoking it—with the backing of the Democratic Party and American intelligence agencies—ultimately leading to Russia’s invasion. Prior to Russia’s attack on Ukrainian sovereignty, there had been a decade-long effort by Democratic administrations to challenge Ukraine’s position within the Slavic sphere of influence.

The Russian invasion, whether successful or not, will likely achieve its aims because Ukraine lacks the demographic strength, high morale, or independent infrastructure necessary to sustain a prolonged conflict. Without American support, Ukraine would have succumbed long ago.

The Western media fixates on Zelensky, portraying him as a heroic figure. However, beyond his background as a comedian turned politician, he serves as a useful instrument for the Democrats—who, since the Maidan Revolution, have encouraged Ukraine’s collision course with Russia. His story is ultimately one of a corrupt leader willing to sacrifice millions of his people and vast swaths of land to avoid acknowledging the historical truth: Ukraine is firmly within Russia’s sphere of influence. As the English saying goes, "Sucks to be you."

Those who denied this geopolitical truth precipitated the war. Does Russia engage in expansionism? Yes. Is Russia corrupt? Absolutely. Does Russia break agreements? Certainly. But that is the nature of Russian power. It operates under its own set of rules, and those rules must be respected.

The problem is that, due to Democratic policies, Ukraine lost Crimea under Obama and Eastern Ukraine under Biden. These losses stem from efforts to pull Ukraine into the Western sphere of influence—whether through the 2014 Maidan coup or the 2022 NATO discussions.

The idea that Ukraine’s territorial integrity supersedes its historical geopolitical alignment is a notion championed only by those willing to challenge Russian dominance in Eastern Europe. Here’s how events unfolded:

Zelensky, ultimately, is a puppet serving old Democratic and American interests. He has allowed Ukraine to lose vast territories that will likely never be recovered without triggering a global war, all while personally benefiting from billions in aid. To call him a "murderer-clown" is not an exaggeration.

President Donald Trump understood this geopolitical dynamic. Yet, the Democrats and the media continue to distort the truth.

This analysis does not seek to justify Russia’s attack, nor does it portray Putin as a righteous actor. However, the reality remains: Ukraine is a marginal state with strategic importance as Russia’s southwestern buffer. The U.S. should not have a vested interest in it, given its historical ties to the Soviet Union, the Russian Empire, and even Kievan Rus.

To ignore the history and geography that preceded 2014, to overlook the Democrats’ political machinations, to dismiss Ukraine’s deep-rooted corruption and the influence of the American military-industrial complex, and instead focus on Zelensky as a heroic freedom fighter is not only misguided—it is dangerous. This narrative benefits only the globalist war establishment, not America, the world, or the preservation of human life.
