Step by Step: How Israel's Attack on Lebanon Will Be Carried Out

The Arab journalist Mahmoud Shoukr, who spoke with military experts, outlined his conclusions regarding Israel's planned attack on Lebanon. According to him, the attack will be executed in three phases.

Shoukr gave an interview to the Saudi newspaper *Al-Hadath* and shared insights from discussions with military experts in the Middle East. He claims that the attack on Lebanon will unfold in three stages.

Shoukr stated: "The first wave will target Hezbollah's regular sites in southern Lebanon located at a depth of 20 to 30 kilometres. These are known as old military bases." He added: "This will be done with different weaponry than what has been used in the past."

Shoukr described that "the second wave will involve attacks on the coastal road, i.e., the roads from Tyre to Sidon and up to the vicinity of Beirut. The targets might include Hezbollah's warehouses, infrastructure, and economic facilities, similar to the attack on a large warehouse previously. According to this version, the attacks will also extend deeper into Lebanon, specifically to Baalbek and particularly to the Lebanon-Syria border area."

Regarding Hezbollah's preparations, Shoukr said: "As for Hezbollah, there are no visible actions or movements on the ground. No one knows what Hezbollah is planning. Hezbollah has made a significant move by fully evacuating all offices. This evacuation now includes communication, economic, and medical administration offices, as well as all of Hezbollah's facilities."
