When War Is No Longer a Means — But a Political Goal
He Funded Hamas — Now He Wants You to Die Fighting Them (Without Even Trying to Win)
The soldiers refusing to serve aren’t traitors — they’re the ones who finally asked the question no one dared to: 'Why are we really fighting?'

As Shabbat ends, it’s important to remember: Refusal to serve may be terrible — but knowingly aiding the enemy for years with suitcases of cash and truckloads of cement is a whole other planet of crime. Anyone speaking of refusal in a reality where the Prime Minister consciously and openly supported the military wing of the enemy is either drunk, high, stupid — or all three (i.e., a Bibi loyalist).
Netanyahu is the father of operational refusal.
Until his tenure, refusal was (still unjustified) mostly ideological — in Lebanon, during the intifadas, or in legal protests. But with Netanyahu, we witnessed something new: political interest and desire in a war of attrition. A war of withdrawal, of death, of surrendering victory and conquest — a war conducted against the fighting spirit and morale of the soldiers. A war where morale is crushed, where the very ideas of conquest and victory — long associated with the IDF — are shattered. And all of it, purely for shady political calculations and suspicious strategies that erode the will to fight in unprecedented ways — even among clearly ideological sectors of society.
By the way, this has been accompanied by another bizarre element: the funding and greasing of a “draft exemption coalition,” which Netanyahu uses to exploit the diseased reality he himself has created for political credit.
In a previous article, I explained: This wave of refusal is not ideological like it was in the past — it is practical, realistic. No soldier wants to die in a guaranteed retreat-battle managed for political motives. No soldier wants to die not in defense of his home, and not in a war to defeat the enemy. Especially when Israel’s leadership openly speaks of handing Gaza over to foreign entities or international authorities.
Indeed, many are sick of being treated like second-class mercenaries — sent back and forth with no honor, no glory, and certainly no territorial, security, or strategic achievements. After all, these same soldiers were spat in the face and stabbed in the back when their enemies were supplied, funded, and allowed to recover and grow back to full strength.
So what motivation remains for them to return and fight again?
This is a new kind of refusal. A revolutionary kind of refusal.
One born from the fake right — from Netanyahu — the man who supplied, tolerated, and strengthened Hamas, and continues to do so to this very day.
The fact that this situation continues reveals something deeper: The Israeli right, in its Likud form, has politically and morally collapsed. Its very existence will now require an army of sociologists, psychologists, and demographers to understand how Zionist history spiraled from Rabin’s assassination to this point.
