AG Bondi Labels Tesla Attacks as Domestic Terrorism

Justice Department Pledges Harsh Consequences for Perpetrators Amid Rising Violence

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has condemned the recent surge in violent incidents targeting Tesla facilities and vehicles, officially categorizing them as acts of domestic terrorism.

"The coordinated attacks on Tesla property are nothing short of domestic terrorism," Bondi stated in a press release.

"The Department of Justice has already charged multiple individuals under relevant statutes, including cases carrying five-year mandatory minimum sentences."

The latest incident occurred early Tuesday morning at a Tesla service center in Las Vegas, where several vehicles were set ablaze. Authorities, including the FBI, are investigating the attack, and initial evidence suggests politically motivated vandalism.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has criticized the escalating violence, calling it an "extreme act of domestic terrorism." The situation has also drawn attention from President Donald Trump, who previously vowed to classify such attacks under domestic terrorism laws.

With tensions rising, officials warn that further acts of vandalism or destruction will lead to severe legal consequences. The Justice Department has signaled that investigations will extend beyond direct perpetrators to those who may be organizing or funding such actions.
