Autopsy shock: Shiri Bibas is still held by Hamas, Kfir and Ariel were murdered in November

Following the completion of the identification process by the National Center for Forensic Medicine in collaboration with the Israel Police, IDF representatives have informed the Bibas family that their loved ones, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, have been identified.

According to professional assessments based on available intelligence and forensic findings, Ariel and Kfir Bibas were brutally murdered in captivity in November 2023 by terrorists.

During the identification process, it was determined that the additional body received was not that of Shiri Bibas and did not match any other hostage. This remains an unidentified body.

This constitutes a severe violation by the Hamas terrorist organization, which is obligated under the agreement to return four deceased hostages.

Ariel Bibas, aged four at the time of his death, and Kfir Bibas, only ten months old, were kidnapped along with their mother, Shiri Bibas, from their home in Nir Oz. Their father, Yarden Bibas, attempted to protect them but was kidnapped prior to Shiri and the children. Yarden was returned as part of the hostage release agreement on February 1, 2025.
