Israel in War Day 108. Palestinian Media in Shock: Israeli tanks spotted in Western Khan Yunis. Reports from other Palestinian sources indicate breach by IDF forces into the area very close to Al-Mawasi - the 'safe zone' declared by the IDF at the beginning of the war.

Palestinian reports indicate large IDF forces in the area of Najjar Hospital, near Al-Aqsa University, a few hundred meters from the seafront. Former Gush Katif evacuees are returning home.

Western Khan Yunis area, very close to the former Gush Katif region. Images circulating online show tents of Palestinian refugees located around familiar landmarks in Neve Dekalim, such as the Council building and the elementary school.

It's worth noting that the IDF does not provide real-time updates on the movements of forces due to field security considerations and generally publishes documentation with a delay of a day or two. Nevertheless, it appears that IDF forces are near the ruins of Gush Katif, and in the coming days, documentation may reveal the return of displaced residents to their former homes.
