Millions of Shekels Seized in Gaza to Be Transferred to the State Treasury

The IDF Technological and Logistics Directorate's Loot Removal Unit seized 15 million NIS in recent weeks, confiscated from Hamas strongholds, and wanted individuals' homes in Gaza. The money will now be counted and transferred to the State Treasury.

In the Ministry of Defense today (Sunday), it was announced that the IDF Technological and Logistics Directorate's Plunder Unit confiscated money seized, among other things, in Hamas strongholds in the Gaza Strip and the homes of wanted individuals involved in terrorist activities. In addition, one million dollars were found, as well as Iraqi dinars and Egyptian pounds.

According to the ministry's data, since the beginning of the war, money amounting to over 20 million shekels has been seized, with around 15 million confiscated in recent weeks.

It was further stated that the money has been transferred to the Finance Department in the Ministry of Defense, where it will be counted. Subsequently, the funds will be deposited into the State Treasury.
