A Month After Being Injured in Gaza: Noam Ashram Passed Away from His Injuries

Released for publication: Noam Ashram, a fighter of the patrol company of the 179th Brigade who was mortally wounded last month during the fighting in the Gaza Strip, has now died of his wounds.

Israel at War: It is now released for publication that the soldier Noam Ashram, who was seriously injured on December 29 during the battles in the Gaza Strip, passed away this morning. Ashram, 37, from Kfar Saba, served in the Palsar 5352nd Reconnaissance Battalion Unit (179th).

With this, the number of IDF casualties since the beginning of the war has risen to 524. May their memory be blessed.

This morning, the name of another IDF soldier who fell in the southern Gaza Strip battle yesterday was allowed to be published: Sgt. First-Class (Res.) Nitzan Schessler z"l, 21, from Hadera, a soldier in 7155th Battalion, Givati Brigade's "Hod Hachanit" (Spearhead 55). Schessler was posthumously promoted from the rank of Sergeant to Corporal.

Additionally, in the same battle where Corporal (Res.) Nitzan Schessler fell, a reserve soldier from the Engineering Battalion 603, attached to the 7th "Saar me-Golan" Armor Brigade, was seriously injured yesterday in the southern Gaza Strip.
