In the last hour, a direct hit on a home in the community of Yuval in the Finger of the Galilee (between Metula and Kiryat Shmona) has been reported. Initial reports indicate at least one fatality and two injuries. The IDF is responding with fire towards the source of the attack.

Magen David Adom (MDA) reported, "Paramedics and medical teams from MDA, in collaboration with IDF medical forces, report a 40-year-old male with no signs of life, extensive shrapnel wounds. Medical treatment is provided, and two injured individuals, a 70-year-old woman in serious condition and a 74-year-old man in shock, are evacuated to the hospital."

It has now been published that five IDF soldiers were earlier evacuated to Rambam Hospital after encountering a bear on Mount Dov in the morning. They sustained light to moderate injuries, with four terrorists killed during the exchange of fire. All soldiers' families have been notified about the incident.

In a related incident, IDF forces identified and eliminated four terrorists who infiltrated from Lebanon, into Israeli territory in the Har Dov area. This marks the first instance of infiltrations since the first week of the war when terrorists entered from the Western sector.

IDF spokesperson stated this morning, "Earlier tonight, an IDF patrol in the Har Dov area encountered a terrorist cell that crossed from Lebanese territory into Israeli territory. The patrol engaged in contact, and during the exchange of fire, four terrorists were eliminated. Throughout the confrontation, the IDF conducted artillery and mortar fire in the area."
