Three out of the four IDF soldiers killed yesterday (Sunday) in the Gaza Strip fell in two separate incidents. One soldier was killed as a result of an unexplained explosion that occurred in a truck carrying explosives for demolishing tunnels in the Ayye Bouri neighborhood in the center of the Strip, as reported by Israel Hayom.

The tunnel they intended to demolish was discovered by the Golan Brigade and the 188th Battalion, containing several chambers located 30 meters below the ground. Inside the tunnel, the largest rocket factory found so far was exposed, including a production facility for long-range rockets, explosives, precision-guided missiles, charges, and UAVs.

The IDF is investigating whether it was a human error, technical failure, or a roadside bomb. In this attack, an officer and two soldiers were also injured, including the singer-songwriter and actor (Fauda) Idan Amedi.
