Shabbat Candle-Lighting Times - Parshat Shemot 

Parashat Shemot is the first Weekly Torah Portion in Sefer Shemot. It begins at the beginning of the book, chapter 1, verse 1, and ends in chapter 6, verse 1. Shabbat times:

In this portion, the narrative unfolds the beginning of the Israelites' servitude in Egypt and delves into the early years of Moses's life and his selection for leadership. Several figures who will play roles in the subsequent portions and books are introduced, including Miriam and Aaron, Moses's siblings, as well as Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, who enslaves the people of Israel.
