Iran, 80 Dead In Explosions

Iran: 80 Dead in Explosions Near Qasem Soleimani's Tomb

Two explosions startled the participants at the memorial of the Revolutionary Guards commander Qasem Soleimani in the city of Kerman, Iran. Rescue forces are heading to the location, and there are casualties reported in the incident.

On the anniversary of the assassination of Qasem Soleimani, two explosions occurred near the cemetery where he is buried in the city of Kerman. The blasts took place in proximity to the ceremony commemorating him.

Rescue forces have been dispatched to the area, and initial reports indicate casualties. Preliminary reports suggest around 80 fatalities and dozens of injuries.

Iranian authorities claim that the explosions were caused by gas-filled balloons.

Soleimani was the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the mastermind and organizer of the Shiite regime's terror network across the Middle East – from Iran to Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and various other extremist Muslim factions in the Arab world. It is not unlikely that Hamas's attacks on communities in the Gaza periphery were a result of his planning.

He was assassinated by the Trump administration exactly four years ago while traveling in his car near Baghdad International Airport. Since then, the day of his death has become a symbol of the Iranian regime's defiance in its war against the Western world and Israel.
