Exactly one month ago, Zvi Greenglick, the father of Capt. Shauli Greenglick who was killed yesterday (Tuesday) in a battle in the Gaza Strip, uploaded a video of all the family members singing Shlomo Artzi's song "Teta'aru Lachem".
And so he writes: "On New Year's Eve all the bridegrooms and the children arrived with God's blessing for a short vacation and when they are all together then they sing."
In the video, the family members are sitting at the piano, one is playing the piano, one the guitar, and everyone is singing, then he enters the living room and sings the song with them. He passes them and goes to sit next to his mother who wraps her arms around him and kisses him and in the background the lyrics of the song "Imagine me falling into her arms".
The video was distributed on all social networks and touched the deep hearts of everyone who watched it, this simple and strong hug of a mother, a family singing a song of hope and a lot of love in the air.
Shaul Greenglick was a candidate for singing at the Eurovision in the TV program "The Next Star", he passed the first stage but gave up his participation in the rest of the program, in order to continue fighting with his comrades in Gaza.
His funeral will be held today, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 13:00 at the military cemetery in Ra'anana.
