The IDF announced this morning (Wednesday) that during the last day about 200 terrorist targets were attacked in the Gaza Strip from the air, sea, and land.
According to the announcement of the IDF spokesman, as part of the ground activity of the combat team fighters of the 11th (Yiftach) Brigade in the area of Shuja'iyya, the fighters identified terrorists passing between buildings within the combat zone of the terrorist organization Hamas, from which shots were fired at our forces. In cooperation with the fire complex and the intelligence, the forces directed Air Force aircraft that attacked and eliminated the terrorists. The attack resulted in additional secondary explosions indicating that the area was trapped, intending to harm the IDF fighters.
In another scene of the battles, the fighters of the 261st brigade combat team identified two terrorists who entered a vehicle. When the terrorists arrived at the building known as a weapons warehouse, the forces directed an Air Force aircraft that attacked and eliminated the terrorists, and an Air Force fighter jet attacked the weapons warehouse.
The fighters of the 401st Brigade Combat Team who were active in the al-Daraj-Tuffah area identified a terrorist holding an anti-tank missile designed for short-range use. The forces directed a team of tanks, which spotted the terrorist preparing to fire at the forces and eliminated him before firing at them.
It was also reported that during the night the Sea Arm fighters identified and attacked -while closing a circle with the forces in the field-, suspects who were in the building and posed a threat to the maneuvering forces in the Strip. Also, the naval forces attacked targets of the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip, as part of assisting the activities of the 14th Brigade forces along the coastline.
